Blake week 1

This week has been a big adjustment, but things are going really well. Blake is a great baby. He sleeps all the time, is a great eater (already gaining weight) and pretty calm. He is a big snuggler and will just lay on your chest for hours and hours. I think he is going to be our cuddler. Hailey is adjusting pretty well also. She gets sad when I can't pick her up or when I can't get down on the floor and play with her (thanks to another c-section) and wants my attention more than normal, but other than that she is pretty good. It really helps having her interact with Blake; asking her to help get his binkie or blanket etc.... she loves to change the speed of his swing and put the lights and music on for him and loves to come up and touch him with one finger and love him. She is still a little unsure about him, but when people come over she runs to them and points to him saying "baby baby see" way cute. Overall we are doing well and I can't wait to fully recover and be back to myself again. Having these two awesome kids is great and we love them so so much. Things are going to get really fun around here :)

Blake Thomas Buffington

On June 17, 2011 at 6:03 P.M. we were blessed with our little baby boy Blake Thomas Buffington. He weighed 8lbs 12 oz. and was 22 inches long and couldn't be more perfect. He has dark brown hair, deep blue eyes and a very cute little dimple on his cheek. He is a cuddling sweetheart and loves to be held. We finally decided on a middle name just a few days before he came into this world choosing to name him after my grandpa Richard Thomas Reynolds. Hailey is getting use to having him around and loves to try and give him a binkie or bring him toys to look at. It is hard for her to understand why I can't pick her up yet (thanks to my c-section), but we just all sit on the couch together and she seems to really enjoy that. She loves to give him kisses and waves hi to him saying "hi baby". Everyone is doing really well and we just couldn't be happier. More pictures to come over the next couple of days :)

Disneyland Fun with Friends

On Monday we went to Disneyland and luckily ran into some friends :) Donovan and his little boy Rylan were already in line for the new Ariel ride and let us get in line with them. Thanks guys!!!! So we were only in line for like 15 minutes as opposed to an hour. Then his wife Tawny, daughter Chloe, and Loretta joined us! The new ride was so so so much fun!!!! They did a great job with it. Then we went and watched the new parade and Hailey and Rylan danced to the music. Little Chloe is so cute she would wave to all and (only) the princess. So adorable. The rest of the night was really fun. We took Hailey on the tea cups for the first time and she couldn't enough of them. She kept on saying weeee!!!! When we got off she started to cry and point back at them and say (Weeeee, please weeeeee please) she really wanted back on them. I am glad she has so much fun at Disneyland. :) It is just a great place to be. This wouldn't let me post the videos of the kids dancing at the parade, but that's ok.
